Aloo Paratha Recipe
To make Aloo Paratha you will need,
- Boiled and peeled potato
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Ginger
- Some green chilies
- Coriander seeds
- Salt
- Red chilies flakes
- Carom Seeds Powder
- Coriander
- Wheat flour
- Garam Masala/ Spices mixture
- Vegetable cooking oil
- Water
- Butter
Now you will need a bowl in which you will add boiled and
peeled potato.Add a quarter cup of chopped onions and add 1/8
cup of chopped ginger.Add 2 chopped green chilies.Add 1/2
cup of coriander seeds.Add 2 teaspoons of salt.You can add salt to your taste.Add 1/2 teaspoon of red chilie powder.Now, you
would have to mash the potatoes.In the potato mixture add
coriander leaves and 1/4 teaspoon of garam masala and mix.It
should look like a dough.Take another bowl and add 2 cups of
wheat flour.Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.Add 1/8 teaspoon of
carom seeds powder.Mix it.Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
Add 1 and a quarter cup of water.Now mix it by using your
hands. It should look like a dough.Now roll it and make balls
out of it.Now sprinkle a little wheat flour on the surface.Now
keep pressing at the corners and roll it with the rolling pin.
Now put the potato stuffing and seal the ball again roll it with
the rolling pin.Now you want to Greece it with butter or ghee.
Now put the Paratha on the pan.If it's color turns to golden and
has black spots so, that means it is cooked.Now you can
garnish it with coriander leaves and butter.Now your Aloo
Paratha is ready.
